Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 12, 2026

Armstrong Plumbing Company (“Armstrong,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you visit armstrongplumbingcompany.com, book or request service, call or email us, sign up for text (SMS) messages from us, or otherwise interact with our residential plumbing business based in Pearland, Texas.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use our website or services. We may update this page from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will change when we do.

Information we collect

Depending on how you contact us or use our site, we may collect:

  • Contact and account details: Name, phone number, email address, service address, and similar information you provide when you request a quote, schedule service, or communicate with our team.
  • Service-related information: Descriptions of plumbing issues, photos or notes you choose to send, appointment preferences, and payment or billing information processed in connection with completing work (including information you provide to our payment or financing partners when you elect to use those options).
  • Communications: Content of calls, texts, or emails to or from Armstrong, feedback or reviews you submit, and when you opt in to SMS, your mobile telephone number, time/date of consent, and the method you used to opt in (for example, web form or text-to-join).
  • Website and device data: IP address, browser type, general location derived from IP, pages viewed, referring URLs, and dates and times of visits. We may use cookies or similar technologies as described below.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Respond to inquiries, schedule and perform plumbing services, and communicate about your job.
  • Send service-related messages (such as appointment confirmations or follow-ups).
  • Operate, secure, and improve our website and internal operations.
  • Comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and property of customers, our team, and others.
  • With your consent where required, send marketing or promotional messages, including marketing or service-related SMS you have opted in to (you can opt out as described below).

Text messages (SMS) — how to opt in and your choices

Armstrong may offer text message programs (for example, appointment reminders, service updates, or promotional offers). We only send SMS to mobile numbers that have opted in through one of the clear methods below. Consent to receive marketing texts is not required to purchase our services, except as otherwise permitted by law for purely transactional messages.

How you can give SMS opt-in (prior consent):

  • Website or electronic forms: When a form on our website or another Armstrong-controlled channel collects your mobile number for text messages, we will present a separate, clear call to action—for example, an un-checked consent checkbox or equivalent control—next to language that identifies Armstrong Plumbing Company as the sender, describes that you are agreeing to receive recurring automated text messages at the number you provide (and whether messages may include marketing, appointment/service updates, or both, as stated on that form), states that message and data rates may apply, and references this Privacy Policy and any linked SMS terms. Submitting the form only after selecting that consent option (or completing the affirmative step we describe on that page) is how you opt in for that program.
  • Text-to-join (keyword): When we advertise a keyword and short code or long code, you opt in by sending the advertised keyword from your mobile device to the number we publish, after reading the program description shown in that advertisement or on the sign-up page it links to. Your inbound message is your consent to receive messages under those disclosed terms.
  • Written or documented consent: We may obtain your documented consent on paper or electronically (for example, a signed service agreement or intake with a clearly labeled SMS consent section). The document will state what categories of messages you are agreeing to receive.

Opt-out and help: You can cancel SMS anytime by replying STOP to any message. After you opt out, we may send a one-time confirmation that you have been removed. For help, reply HELP or contact us using the information at the end of this policy.

Message frequency and charges: Message frequency varies by program. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message and data rates may apply—check your mobile plan.

Mobile opt-in is not shared for others’ marketing: We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile telephone number or your SMS opt-in consent with third parties, affiliates, or other companies for their own separate marketing, promotional, or commercial purposes. We use this information only to operate our own messaging programs and to comply with law. The only sharing related to SMS is described below under service providers strictly engaged to transmit messages on our behalf under contract, who may not use your number or consent for any independent purpose.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. As explained in the SMS section above, your mobile telephone number and SMS opt-in consent are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties, affiliates, or other companies for their own marketing or promotional purposes. The categories below describe limited sharing for the specific purposes noted (for example, completing a job you requested or financing you chose). That sharing is not permission for those parties to use your SMS subscription or mobile number for their own separate messaging or marketing programs. We may share personal information as follows:

  • Service providers who assist us with scheduling, customer relationship tools, billing, IT, hosting, analytics, or similar functions—only as needed for them to perform services for Armstrong and subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations. This may include vendors that help us send text messages you have opted in to receive; those vendors may process your mobile number and message content solely to deliver our program and may not contact you for their own purposes or share your opt-in with others.
  • Field service and booking platforms (for example, when you book online through tools we embed or link to), which operate under their own privacy policies.
  • Financing partners if you apply for or use financing for eligible projects.
  • Professional advisors (such as lawyers or accountants) when necessary.
  • Authorities or others if we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or an emergency involving safety.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice as required by law.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods vary depending on the type of data and applicable law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

  • Marketing and SMS: You may opt out of promotional emails by using the unsubscribe link in those messages or by contacting us. For marketing or mixed SMS programs you joined, reply STOP to any Armstrong text message to cancel, or HELP for program support. Message and data rates may apply; contact your carrier with questions about your plan.
  • Access and correction: You may contact us to request access to or correction of certain personal information we maintain, subject to applicable law.
  • State privacy rights: Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under U.S. state laws (for example, to know, delete, or opt out of certain processing). Contact us to make a request and we will respond as required by law.
