How We Got Here

David started plumbing in 2005. He worked commercial construction, helped build local schools, and later spent years focused specifically on water heaters. By the time he passed his master plumbing exam in 2019, he had over a decade of hands-on experience and a reputation for doing things the right way.

That’s when David and Sarah decided to stop building someone else’s business and start building their own.

They launched Armstrong Plumbing Company from their home. No big investors. No corporate backing. Just two parents who wanted to build something their kids, Tyler and Kylee, could be proud of one day.

The Texas Freeze That Changed Everything

One of the biggest moments in the company’s history came during the 2021 Texas freeze. While their own family was sitting at home without power, David was out working long days helping customers with burst pipes and emergency repairs across the area.

Sarah was at the kitchen table fielding nonstop calls and filling pages of handwritten customer notes, doing whatever it took to keep up.

Why We Kept It Small (On Purpose)

For the first several years, David and Sarah chose not to chase growth. They kept the business small so they could be present for their kids, for the games, the tournaments, the rodeo, the fishing trips, and the everyday moments that matter most.

They don’t regret that for a second. When they look back, one of the things they’re most proud of isn’t just the business they built, it’s the two great kids they raised along the way.
